Evidence-informed red light therapy in Bradninch, Exeter, Devon, for healing and recovery.

What is
red light therapy?

Red light therapy (also known as photobiomodulation) uses specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light to stimulate cellular activity in the body. Backed by decades of laboratory and clinical research, red light therapy produces measurable effects on cell energy production (ATP) and tissue repair.

When red light reaches the skin and underlying tissues, it is absorbed by structures within cells called mitochondria, which improves cellular functioning, signalling and increases ATP production – the energy that cells use to repair, renew, and reduce inflammation. Red light therapy is non-invasive and safe. It is administered via full-body panels or targeted devices, and requires no needles or heat.
